What we do
From a six-month checkup to a full set of dentures, treatment happens here rather than being handed off across town. When a case genuinely calls for a specialist, we'll say so and point you to one we trust.
Routine cleanings, digital X-rays and a full exam — for kids, parents and grandparents alike.
Scaling and root planing for gum disease, most often completed comfortably in a single visit.
Tooth-colored fillings and partial crowns that repair decay while blending into your smile.
Custom crowns and bridges that rebuild strength and shape when a tooth needs more than a filling.
Implant restorations to replace missing teeth, with trusted oral-surgeon referrals when needed.
Full and partial dentures fitted and adjusted until they feel comfortable and look natural.
Veneers and professional whitening for a brighter, more even smile — without overtreating.
Clear removable aligners that straighten teeth without a mouthful of metal brackets.
Same-day relief when a tooth is aching, with the numbing and pacing kept on your terms.
Not sure what you need? Describe the problem and we'll tell you honestly.

No call centers, no rotating dentists, no upselling. The same person who examines you is the one who treats you — and he'll tell you when something can wait.
Weekday appointments until 6:00 PM and Saturday hours until 3:00 PM, so care fits around work and school.
Long-time patients say the same thing: someone picks up, and getting an appointment is easy.
Dr. Song walks through what he sees, what it will cost and what your options are — before any treatment starts.
If the dentist makes you nervous, say so. We slow down, check in often and keep you comfortable throughout.
Children through seniors are treated here, so the whole family can be seen back-to-back in one trip.
Wheelchair-accessible parking, entrance and restroom on site at Matlock Oaks Crossing.
Inside the practice
Two treatment rooms, a front desk that knows your name and a waiting room you probably won't sit in for long.

We're in the Matlock Oaks Crossing strip on SW Green Oaks Blvd, with parking right out front.

The front desk
Fresh flowers, a coffee station and — depending on the day — a box of chocolates by the window.

Where the work happens
A screen in every room, so Dr. Song can show you exactly what he's looking at on your X-rays.

Your dentist
Dr. Seung Song has led Matlock Family Dental since 2017, treating everyone from first-visit toddlers to patients rebuilding a full arch. He reviews your history before you sit down, then asks the questions that chart can't answer.
What comes up again and again in his reviews is the explaining: what he sees, why it matters, what it costs, and what happens if you wait. Patients call him thorough, meticulous and gentle — including the ones who arrived dreading the appointment.

Insurance & payment
Dental billing is confusing on purpose almost everywhere else. Here, you find out what your plan covers and what you owe before anyone picks up an instrument.
Verify my coverageWe accept
We're in-network with many of the plans Arlington employers offer, and we accept Texas Medicaid and CHIP for children and eligible adults. Call with your card and we'll verify your benefits before your visit.
Self-pay fees are quoted up front, itemized, and consistently described by our patients as reasonable. No surprise line items after the fact.
When a treatment plan is bigger than one paycheck, ask. We can often stage the work and the payments so care doesn't get postponed indefinitely.
